Renew Your Membership

Your membership is vital to strengthen our library and enrich our community.

Support of the Library is made possible in large part through the generosity of our members. Your membership will sponsor a wide range of free Library programs and services and will also ensure the best equipment and resources for our library and library staff.

If you're looking for that perfect birthday or anniversary gift for the person who has everything, what better way to celebrate than a membership or donation to Friends of Belmont Library.

Memberships runs from January 1 to December 31 in a given year.

All members will receive The Friends of the Belmont Library Quarterly Newsletter that will keep them up to date on the latest activities in the library.

Membership Dues Support The Belmont Library


In previous years membership dues have funded items not in the library budget such as extra copies of popular books, additional periodicals, books on tape/CD, sound equipment, computer equipment, and promotional banners.

Membership dues have previously funded children's programs such as: storytellers; magicians; jugglers; puppet shows; animal programs; ethnic programs: such as Divali, Cinco de Mayo and the Chinese New Year; musical programs; special programs: the Bat Lady; Circus Suzie; Bubble Lady and Bubble Man.

Membership dues have previously sponsored adult programs: a panel of Romance writers; a panel of mystery writers; a panel of hometown authors; speaking events with several Pulitzer and NY Times bestseller authors.
