A gift may also be the best way to honor the memory of an avid reader. Whether a celebration or a memorial, we'll send an appropriate card to acknowledge the event and your gift. Those of you doing estate planning are always welcome to remember our organization with bequests to the Friends of the Belmont Library. Donate NowFriends of the Belmont Library accepts donations for our programs and for the library directly. Friends of the Belmont Library is registered as a non-profit organization and all donations are completely tax deductible.When you make a donation to Friends of Belmont Library you can make a specific request regarding how your donation will be used or you can allow Friends of the Belmont Library to use your donation for any of the activities and library programs that we financially support. Friends of the Belmont Library sponsors a number of programs, including children's programs where paid performers stimulate interest in reading by making the words on the page come alive. The Friends of the Belmont Library also contribute annually to the Belmont Library for magazines, newspapers, and research materials over and above what the county provides. VolunteerFriends of the Belmont Library is a grass roots organization and all our board positions are volunteer positions. We would not be able to operate our books stores and hold our events without the help of our many amazing volunteers. The Friends are always looking for new board members and volunteers.
