Each year Friends receives thousands of donated, used books, which we in turn resell to the public through our two bookstores and a number of book sales. All profits benefit the Library. Notable books are sold online at eBay. Books range in price from 50 cents to 3 dollars.

The Friend's Store is located inside the Belmont Library.The Book Nook
The Book Nook is located in Twin Pines Park down the stairs behind The Cottage, which is to the rear of the Belmont Parks and Recreation Building. When the Book Nook is open, signs in Twin Pines Park will direct you to it.
The Book Nook is open from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the 2nd Saturday and the following Sunday and the 4th Friday and the following Saturday of every month.
Volunteering at the Book Nook is a pleasant experience for many. Its setting in a grove of trees on the banks of the Belmont Creek gives one a chance to enjoy the outdoors, make new acquaintances, and engage in relaxed conversation with customers and friends.
